About me
I am Artur Sendyka, an ICT specialist and web developer from Kraków. I build websites and tools, administer IT, and at Jagiellonian University and Linnaeus University I research how AI reaches libraries, cultural institutions, and research.
Work
I have worked as a freelancer since 2018 and delivered more than 40 projects: business sites and stores in WordPress and WooCommerce, fast sites in Astro, and apps in Next.js and React with Supabase. I write code with AI agents (mostly Claude Code) and stay responsible for architecture, data security, and keeping the project running after launch.
I started in IT: I was an IT administrator at DAV Tech Poland (2019-2022), IT Service Manager at JCC Kraków (2022-2023), a deskside technician at Stefanini (2023), and a configuration analyst at Aon (2024). From 2020 to 2023 I designed websites and graphics remotely for the London agency Digging.Agency.
Clients include BerlinAutoTest (a site rebuilt from a store into a service business), Baltic Wheels (a bilingual trade-show site in Astro, logo, and brand book), Tęczowy Tarnów, and a law office. For a transport company I built a Firefox extension that pulls freight offers from Timocom without paid API access and works as a lightweight CRM.
Security and certificates
Since January 2026 I have been an ISO 27001:2022 internal auditor (CYBER EKSPERT). In March 2026 I completed the Anthropic courses Model Context Protocol: Advanced Topics and Claude Code in Action, and in 2025 GitHub Fundamentals (Wilco). My English is at C1 level (JCJ certificate, July 2026).
Projects
I develop Polish Academic MCP and Polish Academic Skills, tools for students and researchers that use APIs and web scraping to pull articles, publications, and research data from Polish academic repositories, library catalogues, and statistical databases.
DOFTool is a desktop app for families: shared calendars, tasks, and email, zero-knowledge encryption, and sync over the local network with no cloud servers. Tęcza.app is a PWA in Next.js 15 and Supabase for the LGBTQ community in Poland, still in development. Precek analyses text, images, audio, and video with AI models and turns them into visualisations and summaries. The rest of my projects are on my GitHub.

Education
Since October 2025 I have studied Information Management at Jagiellonian University, and since September 2026 Digital Humanities at Linnaeus University in Växjö.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in cultural studies (2025) and completed postgraduate studies in cybersecurity (2026) at the University of Humanities and Economics in Łódź. In 2025 I spent an Erasmus+ semester at the Latvian Academy of Culture in Riga. Before that I finished a technical secondary school specialising in ICT at Zespół Szkół Łączności in Kraków (2021).
Research and publications
For my master’s thesis I am interviewing staff of Polish academic libraries about how AI reaches catalogues and repositories.
I wrote a chapter on AI agents and the Model Context Protocol in research repositories of academic libraries for the monograph “AI w bibliotekach: stan obecny, perspektywy, wyzwania” (Jagiellonian University Press, 2026, pp. 229-246). I have also published on the series “Mothers of Penguins” (Kultura i Wychowanie 27(1), 2025, pp. 171-181), on pathologies of internet culture (AHE Publishing, 2025), and the survey data from AI Literacy Lab 2026.
I have spoken at the Cultural Studies Association Annual Conference (2026, on online activation and street mobilization in Poland’s women’s rights movement, 2016-2021), the Malmö University Organisation Studies Symposium (2025, on hybrid leadership models in the third sector), the “Oblicza Transferu” symposium (2026, on Babuter, a Polish orchestrator of AI agents), and the KINO/TEKST conference (2026, on the home as a panopticon in “Black Mirror” and “Cassandra”).
Teaching and civil society
I led the AI Literacy Lab at Jagiellonian University: five hands-on generative AI workshops completed by 26 students (NPS 70). The materials are open.
From 2023 to 2025 I was president of the Tech NGO Foundation, which I founded to teach organizations to use free IT tools. I was on the board of Tęczowy Tarnów (2023-2024) and have sat on its supervisory board since 2024. Since 2026 I have also been on the supervisory board of Stowarzyszenie Wymiary Kultury. I chaired the AHE student council (2022-2023).
Earlier I volunteered with JCC Kraków, Federacja Znaki Równości, the DKMS Foundation, and Demagog, among others. I also curated the exhibition at the opening of the Tarnów Equality Centre. I have written about free AI tools for NGOs on ngo.pl.
How I work
We start with a short call: what you want to achieve, your budget, and what already works. Then we agree scope and price, I build, show progress, and hand over a working project. After launch I can stay on through technical care.
