Context

Szymon Martyniak — a psychologist and psychotherapist in Kraków — needed a personal professional website: one calm place for profile, collaboration scope, and contact. In helping professions, first impression and a clear contact path build trust more effectively than aggressive marketing.

Goal

I designed and delivered a WordPress site that:

  • presents the psychologist / psychotherapist profile,
  • organises key information for people seeking support or collaboration,
  • leads to contact without unnecessary friction.

My role

I owned design, solution design, WordPress implementation, and up to 30 days of post-launch care.

Scope

The build covered a WordPress site focused on:

  • a personal professional landing layout,
  • sections presenting profile and collaboration scope,
  • a contact path,
  • responsiveness and a structure the owner can keep updating independently.

Approach

For mental-health specialist sites I avoid overload and hard-sell tone. I prioritise one clear path: who I am → how I can help → how to get in touch. Tone and layout should reinforce safety and credibility.

Challenges

  • Limited content, high first-impression stakes — every screen must stay readable; there is no room for clutter.
  • Professional without stiffness — the layout should feel modern but calm.
  • Editable after handoff — the owner should update content independently; WordPress was a deliberate choice for maintainability.

Outcome

The delivery was a coherent, editable WordPress site acting as a personal card for a psychologist and psychotherapist, with a clear contact path. I provided up to 30 days of post-launch care after go-live.
