Context

Mechanika Alternatywna needed a website that presents an engineering company credibly to B2B clients: competence, service offer, and a clear contact path. In a technical industry the site’s job is to shorten the gap between “who you are” and “write / call about collaboration”.

Goal

I designed and delivered a WordPress site that:

  • presents the company profile and engineering competence,
  • organises the service offer in a readable structure,
  • leads to a lead / contact path without unnecessary noise.

My role

I owned design, solution design, implementation, and up to 30 days of post-launch care.

Scope

The build covered a WordPress site (Astra theme) focused on:

  • presenting the company and field of work,
  • service offer pages / sections,
  • contact and enquiry path,
  • a responsive layout and a structure the client can keep updating independently.

Approach

For B2B engineering sites I avoid decoration at the cost of clarity. I prioritise concrete information: who, what, how to contact — with a modern layout that does not bury the offer.

Challenges

  • Technical language vs. clarity — the offer must sound credible to the industry while remaining readable for a decision-maker on the client side.
  • Website as a sales tool, not a PDF brochure — structure and CTAs should drive contact, not only “tell the company story”.
  • Maintainability after handoff — the team should update content without a developer; WordPress + Astra was a deliberate trade-off between delivery speed and editability.

Outcome

The company received a site (mech-alt.com) that combines competence presentation with offer and contact. I provided up to 30 days of post-launch care after go-live.

Stack

  • WordPress — content, pages, contact
  • Astra Theme — lightweight, responsive UI foundation
